- (b) Number of voters who cast their votes; Centre B $\Rightarrow $ $\frac{1750 \times 80}{100}=1400 $ Centre D $\Rightarrow $ $\frac{2400 \times 76}{100}=1824 $ Centre E $\Rightarrow $ $\frac{2000 \times 85}{100}=1700 $ $\therefore $ Required average $ =\frac{1400 +1824 +1700}{3} $ $ =\frac{4924}{3} $ $\approx 1641 $
