- (b) Total consumption of wheat = (600 +800 +550 +600 +750) kg. = 3300 kg. Average consumption = $\frac{3300}{5} $ = 660 kg. Average consumption of sugar = $\frac{600 +550 +350 +500 +500}{5} $ kg. = $\frac{2500}{5} $ =500 kg. Required difference = 660 - 500 = 160 kg.
